"My garage had become my dumping ground for anything, and everything.  I got to a point when I just couldn't stand it anymore so I knew that I had to call a professional to help me straighten up the mess.  That's where Ellen came in.  Together, we went through my stuff and even though it took a little time (2 days), the end result was so worth it.  Now, 1 year later, my garage is still neat, tidy, and I couldn't be happier.  Not only do I love my "new" garage, but I also love the fact that I'm learning how to stay focused and keep it organized.  I never want to go back to my old ways again!"

DEBBIE'S STORY

Debbie was frustrated by the clutter in her garage, which had become the catch-all for her house.  She thought she could sort, purge and organize on her own, but she kept procrastinating.  Then - Voila!  - the idea came to her to get help from a professional.

Her objectives: to get rid of items she no longer used, paint the garage, organize what she kept and complete the project quickly and thoroughly. 

Debbie and I emptied the entire garage, painted the walls and set aside items to donate to charity. We put other items at the curb that we thought people might want, and most were picked up by neighbors!  Then we purchased two cabinets and two shelving units to organize and put away remaining items.  We categorized everything by use - tools, garden and outdoor tools, housewares, paint, pet, cleaning, horse and sport supplies.  This project took two days.
